| I do believe the inferior valves are available and could possibly cause that kind of wear in that time frame if not seated properly or used with aftermarket springs or both. In your situation, I believe that Sealed Power made an aftermarket product to the specs of the original just not as well as Nissan causing them to fail a lot sooner. Nissan would have them available because I am sure they produced a certain number to fulfill their car sales prediction. Once they realized the problem they probably just shelved the remaining product and did not install them anymore leaving a surplus for them to scrap or sell... Truthfully a new 30P valve should last over 100k miles if seated properly in a Non Turbo. In any event, we only use the EG valves for this reason.
